My background started off in a purely academic manner obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering. Coming out of college, there were a variety of life skills that I found myself missing, that neither school nor childhood taught.

This started to become even more apparent during my second engineering job and life experiences that I found myself engaged in. Subjects like relationships, spirituality, business engagements, and health were all extremely foreign to me and were haphazardly learned through trial and error.

Coming from a purely academic, technical, black and white life, and starting the transition into the grey, required a massive shift in my thinking, personal growth, and who I was to the core. Understanding life from this new perspective was uneasy but it has opened my eyes to a new world.
